Essentials of Disability and Absence Management (CPDM1)

This course provides an overview of integrated disability management (IDAM). It will identify what IDAM is, the program components, key roles and responsibilities of those involved in IDAM, and how the programs coordinate together. Specific information reviewed includes: federal programs, state programs, company programs, employment practices, prevention and wellness programs, vocational programs, and administrative case management practices.

  • Identify cases that comprise IDAM concepts.
  • Identify, summarize, and explain why a case is within the IDAM structure.
  • Be able to provide a comprehensive verbal and written explanation of what an IDAM program is, how it works in a company, and use cases to support your explanation.
  • Understand the advantages of and be a proponent of IDAM.

Workers' Compensation Adjuster Post Designation Training

This course applies 27 hours towards the training requirement for a workers' compensation claims adjuster, medical only claims adjuster, or medical bill reviewer pursuant to California Insurance Code Section 11761 and California Code of Regulations Section 2592 et esq. You must be online in the course for the full 27 hours and complete all course requirements to download and print the training certificate.

If you complete all course requirements before the 27 hours, we recommend you return and review the sections most important to master your understanding of the subject matter. If you have completed the course in less than the recommended time and wish to receive a certificate documenting the hours you actually spent in the course please contact IEA at 1-800-655-4432 or email us at leslie@ieatraining.com. Please note that once you have received your certificate, you will no longer have access to the course.

Refund Policy
The course must be completed within 90 days of the date of purchase. A full refund, less a $30 fee, will be given within one week of registration if you are not satisfied with the product. No refund after one week. If student desires, instead of refund, he/she will be allowed to transfer into a classroom course or online instructor led course at public price with credit for entire online cost (no $30 fee).
