This course considers how best to plan and schedule activities. Learners will become familiar with various techniques used to calculate and analyze activity time estimates, including ways to estimate the duration of activities.
After completing this course you will be able to:
- Understand activities in relation to work breakdown structure and diagramming methods.
- Explain project scheduling and estimating, including the techniques of Gantt charting, PERT, and CPM.
- Calculate time estimates and the critical path using CPM and PERT.
- Understand the importance of collaboration in planning and scheduling and the use of technology to support this.
