PMP® Exam Preparation

This eleven module project management program builds successful Project Managers at all levels of the organization. Participants successfully completing this program are prepared for the PMP® certification exam. 

This course focuses on the concepts, methodologies, and tools of project management as they are applied in real-world situations. The fundamentals of project management, such as integration management, costing, quality, collaboration, project life cycles, control, risk management, procurement, evaluation, and other essential domains, are also explored.

Ten comprehensive module quizzes and a Practice Exam cover the PMBOK® areas of knowledge. Learners will also receive PMP exam taking strategies.

After completing this course, you'll be able to:

1. Understand the organizational issues surrounding project management.
2. Explain the five ongoing processes during a project life cycle.
3. Understand effective people management for projects, including how to motivate, develop, and manage teams and resolve their conflicts.
4. Create a project communication plan.
5. Review the scope of a project and plan a project by phase work breakdown.
6. Explain project scheduling and estimating, including the techniques of Gantt charting, PERT, and CPM.
7. Understand the general approaches to cost management and the key methods used to estimate and budget for project costs.
8. Explain how project risks are identified, prioritized, quantified, and used in decision-making.
9. Describe the key aspects of quality management for a project, including quality assurance and control.
10. Understand project procurement processes and the elements of the project management plan.
