This course considers what quality is in the context of project management: its components and intent. Learners will understand the benefits of using a quality management plan and will develop an ability to recognize when quality has been achieved.
After completing this course you will be able to:
- Define quality, quality planning, quality assurance and quality control.
- Explain what execution means in terms of quality assurance and quality control, including the use of certain activities such as sampling and inspection.
- Understand the similarities and differences among quality tools, and generally when and why each is applied in quality management.
